Marketing Manager

The primary focus of this role is to increase MAK Water's sales by increasing the number and quality of enquiries that the company receives for its products and services. The role is working full time from the MAK Water Malaga Office.

Reporting to the CEO your responsibilities will include:

  • Identification and implementation of marketing strategies
  • Management of digital marketing (Website, PPC, SEO etc)
  • Preparation and management of marketing collateral
  • Tenders and proposal support
  • Planning and managing email marketing campaigns
  • Working closely with the sales team to monitor and improve sales performance
  • Be the Brand Manager
  • Internal and external communications
  • Report monthly on performance to CEO and board

The successful applicant will possess:

  • Proven marketing experience and/or tertiary qualification in marketing
  • Experience in a B2B sales environment with a highly technical product
  • Demonstrated success in implementing digital marketing processes to generate leads and acquire customers in a medium to large business
  • Attention to detail, planning and organisational skills
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Highly developed analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Innovation, coordination and ability to prepare marketing literature

FIFO Operator - Water Treatment

THE ROLE

This FIFO role is  working 16 days on and 12 days off rosters ex-Brisbane, Townsville or Rockhampton.

The principle focus of this role is to:

  • Operate and maintain the Water Treatment Facilities
  • Carry out routine and reactive maintenance
  • Trouble shoot process issues
  • Prepare activity and work order reports
  • Maintain plant inventories
  • Communicate with site operations personnel
  • Assist with additional site requirements eg pipe installation and repair fittings, upgrades etc.
  • Assisting in the management of asset registers and asset life cycle

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Current QLD Plumbing Licence
  • Certificate III/ IV in Sewage Treatment Plant/Waste Water Treatment Plant
  • Minimum 2 years’ operational experience
  • Computer/iPad literacy
  • Demonstrated problem solving capability
  • Initiative to manage unexpected issues independently
  • Good communication skills
  • Water treatment experience preferred – Reverse Osmosis, Wastewater, potable water etc

As these roles are based on a Qld coal mine, applicants with experience working on similar sites and holding White Card, Standard 11 Certificate and Coal Board Medical will be looked at favourably, but this is not essential.
