MAK Water operates a large hire fleet of Reverse Osmosis/Desalination, Wastewater Treatment and Filtration plants, which are available for short or long-term lease. Hire plants can be mobilised to site at short notice and be fully operational within hours.
Temporary water treatment equipment requirements can be either planned or unexpected including:
- Construction projects
- Plant commissioning
- Planned outages
- Equipment replacement
- Equipment failure
- Extra plant capacity
- Process changes
MAK Water understands the often urgent nature of hire projects and will move fast to review client water quality data and enable rapid deployment of the best possible equipment solution. Generally MAK Water maintains a hire fleet of parts in Australia for immediate use.
Plug and Play
To enable quick and simple site installation, our hire plants are often containerised or modular providing genuine plug and play capability. This means all they need is a feed water supply and power (which can also be provided by a generator) and it can be set up to produce or treat water on site within a matter of hours.
MAK Water offers clients the opportunity to hire full turnkey packages including generators, tanks and distribution pump sets, which are all fully maintained by the local service team located in every state in Australia.
Hire water treatment plants are usually supplied for short term usage (up to 18 months). Benefits include no capital costs and the flexibility to hire and off-hire units as required. Longer terms can be accommodated through a Build Own Operate (“BOO”) or Build Own Operate and Transfer (“BOOT”) model.
MAK Water includes a service and maintenance agreement with all hire plants, which includes technical support and monthly site visits by a MAK Water Service Technician. This minimises client operational requirements and ensures efficient and reliable operation of the plant.
