Service Technician - Water Treatment (Queensland)
THE ROLE
We have a vacancy for a Service Technicians to join the Queensland team. Your work will predominantly be in the field covering Brisbane and the surrounding area, occasionally travelling to remote sites. Reporting to the QLD Service Manager core duties include:
- Completing scheduled preventative maintenance to clients' water treatment plants
- Completing reactive and breakdown maintenance when required
- Reporting service outcomes
- Take responsibility for service outcomes to improve customer satisfaction
- Assist with system upgrades and improvements
- Participate in water treatment plant commissioning
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
The successful application will:
- Hold a relevant trade qualification (mechanical / plumbing / electrical)
- Have a valid Australian Driver’s Licence and clean driving record
- Water treatment industry experience preferred
- Strong problem solving capability and technical skills
- Have effective written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to interpret engineering drawings and write service reports
- Be comfortable working independently
- Be flexible to travel to site

Service Coordinator
THE ROLE
MAK Water have a vacancy for a Service Coordinator to join the WA team at our Malaga Head Office. The principle focus of this role is to coordinate the execution of service requests from receipt of purchase order through to invoice. The position will suit an experienced person who can work within a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Service Coordinator Team Leader, you will:
- Communicate with clients for quotes and scheduling of maintenance activities
- Coordinate the service team's movements to attend local and remote sites, including client liaison for scheduling and booking all travel requirements for technicians
- Manage client spare parts orders
- Invoice clients for work performed and submit reports as required
- General administration duties as required in a busy service environment
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent attention to detail
- 3 - 5 years in an administration / customer service / sales support capacity
- Experience in a technical/industrial environment desirable
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong customer focus
