Manufacturing Manager

The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for scheduling, resourcing and managing quality to meet the clients' requirements.

Reporting to the CEO you will:

  • Deliver water treatment plants in agreed timeframes
  • Make safety the first priority
  • Drive a programme of continuous improvement
  • Build, manage and develop a team who are committed to product quality
  • Estimate and manage internal projects
  • Assist in the development of MAK Water products
  • Develop and improve manufacturing practices
  • Utilise the ERP system to manage stock and inventory
  • Manage the transition from our existing workshop to a new workshop in the first half of 2020

Technical Sales Engineer - Water Treatment

 

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will:

  • Proactively manage existing customers and new leads
  • Develop new opportunities
  • Prepare pricing,and client proposals
  • Negotiate contracts
  • Develop technical solutions that meet customer requirements (training provided)
  • Utilise the CRM system to manage inquiries from first point of contact to sale

Trade Assistant / Stores

Reporting to the Warehouse Co-ordinator, you will:

  • Load and unload delivery trucks
  • Pick, Pack & Check Orders deliveries /dispatches
  • Use computer system to record receipts and dispatches
  • Communicate with freight providers and couriers for deliveries
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards
  • Assist in the workshop
  • Complete light mechanical assembly work
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area

Project Engineer

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be part of the Perth based engineering team working on water treatment plants.  This role will:

  • Design, procure, fabricate and install plants
  • Review and approve process and fabrication drawings
  • Prepare equipment lists
  • Evaluate vendors 
  • Monitor plant construction in the workshop
  • Manage subcontractors and installation works
  • Communicate with clients
  • Commission and optimise plant performance

Service Technician - Water Treatment

Reporting to the Service Supervisor core duties include:

  • Completing scheduled preventative maintenance to clients' water treatment plants
  • Completing reactive and breakdown maintenance when required
  • Reporting service outcomes 
  • Take responsibility for service outcomes to improve customer satisfaction
  • Assist with system upgrades and improvements
  • Participate in water treatment plant commissioning
