SINGLE PIT DIVERSION SYSTEM
MAK Water’s Clearmake™ Single Pit Diversion Systems allow wash-down, first-flush, and other contaminant fluids to be captured from un-roofed hard-stand areas for disposal, or pre-treatment prior to sewer discharge. Typically a diversion system would work in conjunction with a wastewater treatment system such as an Oil Water Separator (OWS), Gravity Clarifier (GC) or Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) system. During a rain event, diversion systems allow clean rainwater to be harvested or discharged to the storm water system.
DUAL PIT DIVERSION SYSTEM
MAK Water’s Clearmake™ Dual Pit Diversion Systems allow wash down, first-flush, and other contaminant fluids to be captured from un-roofed hard-stand areas for disposal, or pre-treatment (prior to discharge to sewer). During a rain event, diversion systems allow clean rainwater to be harvested or discharged to the storm water system. Systems are compliant with DEHP, DAFF & OH&S regulations.
GROSS POLLUTANT TRAP (GPT)
MAK Water’s Clearmake™ Gross Pollutant Traps (GPT) treat rain and storm water runoff from hardstand or car park areas. The GPT protects the storm water system and the surrounding environment from contaminants such as silt, hydrocarbons, and other debris that can accumulate and be washed off of hardstand and car park areas. MAK Water Clearmake™ GPTs are a cost effective alternative to larger concrete GPTs, which are more expensive to purchase and more time consuming to install. MAK Water Clearmake™ GPTs are compliant with local Council and Department of Environment and Heritage Protection (DEHP) requirements.
STORM WATER MANAGEMENT SILT TRAP
MAK Water’s Clearmake™ Silt Trap treats rain and storm water runoff from open hardstand or car park areas and indoor wash bays. The Silt Trap protects the storm water system and the surrounding environment from contaminants such as silt and other debris that can accumulate and be washed off the hardstand and car park areas. The Silt Trap unit comes complete with an easily removable silt tray, which is quick and simple to maintain.
HYDROCARBON SPILL CONTROL
MAK Water’s Clearmake™ Hydrocarbon Spill Control systems are an integral part of safe water treatment and containment in fuel station forecourts and other hazardous areas with potential for gross hydrocarbon spills. This specialised pre-treatment package is largely used in any hardstand area, wash bay, or fuel station sites where pre-treatment of wastewater containing hydrocarbon, silts, and solids is required and the addition of gross spill containment is necessary.
