MAK Water has been successful in the industrial sector, in 2018 we have started to target the municipal water sector and wastewater treatment plants.
Derek De Waal started with MAK Water in February this year to develop MAK Water’s offering to the municipal sector. The plan has been to identify technology and suppliers that are not well represented in Australia and offer their products alongside our engineering skills, experience and ability to integrate with other systems, in a similar way to how we have worked with Reko and Salsnes screens over the last few years.

Today I am pleased to be able to let everyone know that we have just been appointed the exclusive distributor for Calgon Carbon UV Technology’s products in Australia. Calgon has over 30 installations in Australia of substantial UV systems each treating either drinking or waste water for several thousand people. We will be announcing this to the market at the Water Industry Operators Association in Bendigo, held from the 6 – 9th September.
