LAING O’Rourke has invested in its first modular, solar-diesel hybrid power plant on a Curtis Island gas project.
Believed to be the first of its kind, the plant provides a cheaper, flexible and more environmentally-friendly alternative to diesel generators.
MAK Water was engaged to supply the water treatment plant for the project.
The potable water treatment plant incorporates an ultrafiltration plant with chlorination dosing for sterilisation and a recirculation & monitoring system, all housed within a 20’ sea container.
