Lagoon Master Aerator

The Lagoon Master Aerator (LMA) is engineered for efficient aeration and mixing in shallow pond and lagoon wastewater treatment systems. It features two independently operating regenerative blowers. The first blower runs continuously, supplying coarse bubble diffusers that create strong horizontal and vertical mixing. The second blower directs fine bubbles into the water column, increasing dissolved oxygen levels and forming an oxygen-rich plume that reaches the sludge layer at the bottom. This dual-action process promotes gentle sludge turnover which eliminates sludge build-up and provides continuous sludge digestion.

The system is available in two versions. In Version 1 (V1) the blowers are mounted on top of the unit, while in Version 2 (V2) blowers are mounted on the pond or lagoon embankment. This design not only ensures effective aeration and mixing with low power input but also destratifies the water column, eliminates odours, and reduces algal growth. It further facilitates the organic breakdown of settled sludge and minimises or eliminates sludge build-up. The Lagoon Master Aerator is easy to install, simple to operate, and requires very little maintenance, with the only upkeep being the occasional cleaning of the stainless-steel air intake filters.

The Lagoon Master Aerator continuously circulates water along the bottom of the lagoon, delivering high levels of dissolved oxygen efficiently with minimal energy. Compared to other mechanical aeration systems, this system has no moving parts, is more efficient, cost-effective, and lower in maintenance.
