Desalination / Reverse Osmosis

MAK Water operates a hire fleet of desalination/RO plants built to be versatile in a number of different applications from 10 m3/day to several thousand m3/day of water. Commonly plants are set up to provide drinking water compliant to Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (ADWG), including pre-filtration and sterilisation, but can be used in many different applications.

To enable quick and simple site installation plants are generally containerised, which means all they need is a feed water supply and power (which can also be provided by a generator) and can be set up and producing water on site within a matter of hours. MAK offers hire of fully turn-key systems including generators, tanks and distribution pump sets, which are fully maintained by MAK’s service team when installed on site.

Typically hire water treatment plants are supplied for short term usage (up to 18 months) or where capital constraints apply. Longer terms can be accommodated through a Build Own Operate (“BOO”) or Build Own Operate and Transfer (“BOOT”) model.
