Reverse Osmosis/Desalination Equipment

MAK Water operates a hire fleet of reverse osmosis/desalination plants designed to be versatile for different applications. These plants have the capacity to hold large quantities of water – from 10 m3/day to several thousand m3/day of water. MAK Water’s reverse osmosis/desalination plants are commonly set up to provide drinking water compliant with Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (ADWG), including pre-filtration and sterilisation, but can also be used for many different applications.

Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Set Up

To enable quick and simple site installation, reverse osmosis/desalination plants are generally containerised. This means all they need is a feed water supply and power (which can also be provided by a generator), and it can be set up to produce water on site within a matter of hours should emergency reverse osmosis for purification be required. MAK Water offers clients the opportunity to hire fully turnkey systems including generators, tanks and distribution pump sets; which are all fully maintained by the service team when installed on site.

Water treatment plants are supplied for short term usage (up to 18 months) or where capital constraints apply. Longer terms can be accommodated through a Build Own Operate (“BOO”) or Build Own Operate and Transfer (“BOOT”) model.

Generally, MAK Water can supply hire reverse osmosis/desalination plants within two weeks from receipt of firm commitment, depending on availability at the time of order.
